Pastor Robert Cole - Senior Pastor
Pastor Robert Cole is a life-long member of the North Bronx, graduating from Evander Child's High School. He then went on to obtain his Bachelors from Springfield College in Springfield, MA and his Masters of Divinity from Alliance Theological Seminary located in Nyack, NY. Serving in the role of lead Pastor at New Life in the Bronx since 2003, he has devoted his life to the development of individuals and families using God's Word to produce positive change. At New Life, Pastor Cole teaches the value of community involvement both in and outside of the church's walls. His personal statement of faith is "You are blessed to be a blessing." Pastor Robert Cole is happily married to his beautiful wife of 34 years, Josie Cole, and he is a proud father to his daughter Mikaela Cole. In his spare time, he is an avid photographer and referees football and basketball games.
Rev. Dr. Orlando Crespo - Associate Pastor, Children's Ministry
Rev. Dr. Orlando Crespo opened his heart to Jesus at a Youth Conference 40 years ago. He received his BA from Colgate University in 1986 and has since served as an InterVarsity Campus Minister at Hunter and City Colleges, CUNY Area Director for InterVarsity, and is currently the National Director of LaFe. In 2003 he authored Being Latino in Christ, which has sold over 27,000 copies and helped thousands of Latino students become more confident in their identity, faith and service to Jesus Christ. In 2009, he was ordained by The Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and in 2013 completed his DMin. As one of the founding Pastors of New Life in The Bronx Church, he is happy to be serving under Senior Pastor Robert Cole as the Associate Pastor heading up our Children's Ministry and serving as a regional leader on the District Executive Committee for the CMA Metro District. He is a faithful and loving husband to his wife of 29 years, Maritza, a supportive father to his two adults sons, David and Daniel, and a good neighbor to all who God places in his path. He plans to continue to invest in the growth of New Life in the Bronx Church, to contribute to the success of our Metro CMA District, and to play tennis and bike as much as he can.
